The stress concentration on common tie-bars and screw nuts is obvious 2. As the common fixed platen is not that solid, the deformation of the platen will lead to shearing force which has an impact on the tie-bars. 3. Wear on the rear platen’s mold adjustment nut pad structure, due to insufficient lubrication leads to wear and tear and intensifies the impact and stress on the tie bars, toggle pins and bushes with the mold opening and clamping. 4. Wear and tear of the rear platen’s foot wear pads leads to swinging of the moving platen and increases the wear impact on the machine.
