  3. C. arabica • 目前全球栽培面積最廣，年代最久的物種 • 常綠多年生多幹型灌木，樹高8~10公尺 • 枝幹對生，細長柔軟，新生枝條屬半直立性，成熟枝條呈下垂或傘型 • 對生卵圓形葉片，短葉柄波浪狀葉緣，葉面光亮略帶皺摺 • 葉長約10-15公分，葉寬約4-6公分 • 花色白，帶有茉莉花香，花序叢生於對生葉葉柄的基部，屬於聚繖花序。具有2-3組花序，整圈花序約有8-15朵花 • 每朵花由短花梗連接於花序，花萼有五瓣萼片位於子房上方，筒狀花冠頂部多為五裂，具有五個獨立花絲與雄蕊，兩條細長柱頭凸出於雄蕊之上

  6. C. canephora Pierre • 就是所謂的Robusta coffee • 僅次於C. arabica的栽培面積 • 主要產地為非洲，印尼，巴西北部與近年興起的越南 • 本物種為十九世紀末於非洲新發現的物種 • 屬於常綠灌木，多幹型，樹高可達8-10公尺 • 枝幹分枝長具有彈性 • 大型長橢圓形葉片20-35公分長8-15公分寬，葉片表面呈波浪狀，葉尖尖銳 • 花序腋生，1到3輪，每一輪有15-20朵花 • 花萼有5-7片萼片，每叢花序可有數十朵到多達百朵花
