  2. Do Now: Mon (1/14/13) • Trade lab reports with someone other than your lab partner(s). Peer Evaluate and write comments based on the following rubric: • DATA TABLE (3 points) • Table is legible and is organized with title, proper headings with units. (1) • Observations are specific—OR—data is measured to the correct uncertainty and labeled properly. (2) • DATA ANALYSIS/CONCLUSION (7 points) • 1. Calculations easy to follow with formulas and units included. (3) Explanation of thought process (2) • 2. Answer correct (1). Evidence to justify answer (1). Goal: Balance equations

  3. Do Now: Tues (1/15/13) • Balance this equation S + HNO3H2SO4 + NO2 + H2O Goal: Discover the types of reactions.

  4. Do Now: Wed (1/16/13) *Predict the products and classify the type of reaction. Then balance the equations. Li (s) + N2 Na2O (s)  Goal: Discuss the differences in reaction types and be able to predict the products of the 5 basic types – synthesis, decomposition, single replacement, double replacement, combustion.

  5. Do Now: Thurs (1/17/13) Predict the products and classify the type of reaction. Then balance the equations. Al2(SO3)3(aq) + NaOH (aq)  Zn (s) + H2SO4(aq)  Goal: Using experimental analysis, identify the products of a reaction.

  6. Do Now: Fri (1/18/13) Pass your quiz!!!! Goal: Understand net ionic equations and spectator ions.
