  4. Charitable Foundations • Steve Jobs is a very private man, so no one really knows if he gives money to charities or not. It is said that if he gives, he does anonymously. • It is known that he donates money to the Democratic Party.

He makes$1 a year from Apple. • He is adopted. • He did not claim his oldest daughter because he didn’t believe it was his child. • After Jobs accepted that she was his daughter, he named the first Apple computer after her “Apple Lisa”. • He does not donate money to charity.

  6. How it all began • In 1976, Steve Jobsfounded Apple. As Apple continued to expand, the company began looking for an experienced executive to help manage its expansion. In 1978, Apple recruited Mike Scott from National Semiconductor to serve as CEO for what turned out to be several years. In 1983, Steve Jobs lured John Sculley away from Pepsi-Cola to serve as Apple's CEO, asking, "Do you want to sell sugar water for the rest of your life, or do you want to come with me and change the world?” The following year, Apple aired a Super Bowl television commercial titled "1984.“ This was the beginning of Apple being very successful. • In 1986, Steve Jobs bought what is now Pixar. The first film he made was Toy Story. This movie was very successful and is still loved by people today. There are many more animated movies that he has created. Pixar has won twenty-four Academy Awards and seven Golden Globes. All films produced by Pixar are the fifty highest grossing animated films of all time.

  10. Brief History of the Product • Apple was established in 1976. The single most important PR decision that has made is having a commercial of the product in third quarter of the Super Bowl. This made Apple a huge success. Another thing that really promoted Apple is when iPods first came out. This lead people to the iPhone, iPad, and all the rest. People use Apple products love then while people who have never used them tend to think they’re over priced. • Steve says Pixar was a “money pit”. Fortunately, that was going to change soon. Disney decided they would help pay for the first animated movie. They ended up giving Steve $15 million. Pixar’s first movie was Toy Story. Surprisingly this movie was a huge hit. The only problem was Steve had signed most of the revenue to Disney. He still made quite a bit of money for this movie. Pixar then became very successful! They are still going strong and capturing people’s hearts with there movies.
