  1. Witch Hunts and Witch craft. By: Isabel Silva & Kristynna Valdes

  2. How Witch Hunts and Witch Craft changed the world. the civilians residing in these areas who performed these hunts, had become scared and paranoid. Through out every nation, people; whether they were innocent or not, were being accused of witchcraft based on their appearance and behavior. When a child fell ill, the parents would blame someone of casting an enchantment upon the child, bewitching them. The people accused would often be executed. Though the witch hunts had ended, many people were still living in fear of witches, due to these hunts.

  3. The Impact Witch Trials Caused Around The World Witch Trials had posed a huge impact on the world. It causes us to believe it had a positive end, because if it did not cease, people would be killed on foolish pretenses. They trials were inspiring because it showed that a man, that was believed to have no future, could cause a wide spread panic, resulting in his fame through history.

  4. Life Without The Witch Trials Without witch trials, Massachusetts would lose a great deal of its rich history. Salem, Massachusetts also would not be such a popular tourist destination. If the trials did not cease in Massachusetts, the state would still be in paranoia.

  5. Extending Witch Trials Around the world To expand the ceasing of witch trials, teachers should teach their students about the horrific events that take place due to this panic. Another way is to present plays, that show the terrifying events that had occurred.

  6. How do the Witch Hunts and Trials make you feel? (Isabel) • Sometimes I think about how my life would be if the hunts were still going on today. Would I be accused of being a witch? Would I even be here? Would anyone in my family be accused? These are questions I will never get the answer to. • I think it is a good thing that the hunts have ended in Massachusetts because I think that it violates the 8th amendment . This amendment states that the government cannot punish you with cruel and unusual punishment. The hanging and burning at the stake, is cruel and unusual punishment. • The Salem witch trials showed me how a man who had no future, and who wouldn’t have been known by Massachusetts and the United States together started the witch hunts and trials, and is now known by Massachusetts very well. Samuel Parris wouldn’t be recognized today if it was not for the trials.

  7. Brief History • The Salem Witch Trials were from 1692-1693. • Over two hundred citizens were accused of practicing Devil Magic or Witchcraft. • Out of the two hundred people accused, only twenty of them were executed. • After a while, the colony finally realized that the trials were a mistake. • People from the colony apologized to the families, of the ones who were executed.
