  3. Get to Know Me My experience My background I grew up in Rocky Mount. I attended MB Hubbard, Benvenue Middle, Red Oak Middle, Nash Central Jr. High, Northern Nash Sr. High, and Barton College. • I’ve been teaching for 6 years. • I taught 2ND grade and 3RD grade.

  4. My Family • I have 3 dogs, Lucky, Marley, and Gus. • I do not have children. • I have 2 cats, Boo and Izzy

  5. Hobbies/Interests • I love painting and crafting. • I like to collect children’s books.

  10. Homework • 4 word problems a week • Due on Friday • We will use this to review for our test • It will be for a grade EACH WEEK

  11. Tardiness • School starts at 8:15 A.M. • Running late? Check in at the school office before coming to class. • Come in quietly and get straight to work. I will get you caught up when we get to a good point.

  13. Fire Drills • Line up quietly • We walk out of the room, go past the playground • Line up inside the white fence • Straight, SILENT line • When we are told we go back in • Take Thumb Drive, Red folder, and Red and Green Cards

  14. Tornado Drills • Walk silently to the GIRLS bathroom • Sit on knees with head down. • Cover head with hands • Wait silently

  15. Lockdown Drill • Some students will go in the closet and some students will go under the computer counter • Be absolutely silent • Wood should be propped under the door • Red or Green cards should be in the window and under the door • Do not answer the door or phone
