  5. Franklin D. roosevelt • Longest president • Had a red car • Had polio • Made the great deal • Made airports • Had his own train car

  6. Eleanor roosevelt • Wealthy • Helping others • Was the first lady • Was on a newspaper and stamp • Was respected • Died on 1964

  7. Marry McLeod Buthune • Diligence , justice , cooperation • She was African-American. • not a slave • learned to read by diligence • Earned enough money for a school • Made jobs in the depression Helped African-American children learn to read.

  8. Lyndon Baines Johnson • Born in Stonewell , Texas • started Great society. • He was born in a poor place . • Didn’t have running water or electricity . • Was in the congress as senate. • Became the vise president. • He became a president after JFK was assassinated.
