Earthquake Early Warning Demonstration Tool By Magali Barba University of California at Berkeley As a SURE intern at the California Institute of Technology Seismological Laboratory, I created a demonstration tool to test and show the performance of the τc-Pd algorithm during earthquake scenarios and real earthquakes. EWDT displays P and S wave propagation, remaining warning time, magnitude, and intensity estimates in real time. Users can customize the scenario by modifying the user site and earthquake parameters. Up to 63 seconds of warning time to Caltech during the Mw 7.8 ShakeOut Scenario!
