  2. A tornado or a “twister” is a funnel of wind. The climate in the Mid West is very hot. Temperatures are of the charts. Climate is the average weather in a certain place at a certain time. CLIMATE

  3. Our region’s geographical features make It unique in certain ways. It is made mostly of plains. We also have the Black Hills and the Mesabi Range. Our region is sort of a mixture of different landforms. Our highest mountain is Heaney Peak.

  5. People go to tourist attractions and pay money to stay at a hotel or pay to get into the tourist attractions and then the money is used for others and to pay employees, pay for houses, and more. Economy Of The Middle West Economy- The way a country or other place uses or produces natural resources, goods, and services. Another way people help the economy is if they pay to ship their crops and maybe buy other crops which goes to government.

  6. Before the pioneers came, the Lakota lived on the land west of the Mississippi River . Most Lakota moved further west, but the ones that stayed behind filled the Mid West with Indian culture. Culture The Mid West grows most of the food you find in the stores. When the pioneers traveled here, they rode in Conestoga wagons. Because of this travel, we have some east culture.
