Directions ctrl-D to add duplicate slides Cover Slide – insert new image and place your issue in the title (simply right click on the Star Trek image – change picture – go to your picture folder on your flash drive) Federalism – provide your group definition of federalism and cite source Wordle – words on a WORD document then copy and paste into Worlde.net to create it - no black background – legible font – be creative with layout and color selection – shooting star, kindled, and heat are good color options – once you are finished use your snipping tool to save the image to your pics folder – right click on image on slide – change picture (snipping tool or JING – install it) Background – provide 3-4 slides giving us pertinent background info Issue– provide 2-3 slides listing info and pics about your issue – use the slide with image and text People – who are some of the major players in this issue (again use the slide with image and text)

Directions Timeline – go to the following link – create your timeline – after you click generate use your snipping tool to draw a rectangle around your timeline to save it as a JPEG to your picture file – then drag it from your folder to the slide Video slide(s) – I can help you download the video clip and embed it in your presentation or you can place the hyperlink on your slide and click on the link during your presentation to play the clip – limit 3 clips – to insert a clip be sure it is in your pics file then use the video insert button top right on the task bar – click and search for video to insert Benefits to Society – how does this issue benefit people Court Case(s) – what are any court challenges (state and federal level) that relate to your issue Political Cartoons – one slide per page – limit 3 cartoons To replace picture on slides – place all of your pics in a folder on flash drive in a folder – do this also with your video clips – keep videos and clips in a folder on your drive with the PowerPoint – they need to travel together! – Also – general rule of thumb – check the proportion numbers on the image as you save it – the larger the numbers the better resolution of the picture
