  2. Etiquettes when meeting • Always shake hands • Men pat each other only when they establish strong relationship • Women kiss on the left cheek first and then the right cheek. • Formally, a women would be introduced as Dona and a man would be introduced ad Don.

  3. Etiquettes when visiting houses • Always bring chocolate, flowers, pastries or cake. • Bring small presents to children

  4. Etiquettes in dining tables • Stand on your feet until you are advised to sit down because you may have a particular seat. • Do not eat until the hostess begin to eat. • Use knife and fork to eat • When you finish eating, put down the knife and the fork upside down and parallel to the plate. • Do not get up until the guest of honor does.

  5. Business etiquette • Spend time to get to know to your partners; it is very important to do a business with people you know. • The best way of communication is Face to face. • Be modest even when you speak about your achievements. • Do not confront Spaniards in public. • Only deal with people with the same rank.

Business etiquette • Downward communication is applied. • You must understand body language because Spaniards are not straight forward people. • give details because they are very important to Spaniards. • Spaniards expect partners to be committed to the contract. • First meeting are about getting to know each other in the business world.

  7. Business etiquette-dress code • Stylish dress but conservative. • Elegant accessories are important.
