  1. Three-Campus Comparative East Asian Studies Programme • collaborates with Keio University (Japan) and Yonsei University (Korea) • starts at Keio University  Yonsei University  HKU • students are encouraged to take courses related to comparative East Asian studies and broad social sciences • language of instruction: English • elective courses can be chosen from different disciplines • each university offers a compulsory course • the credits from compulsory courses taken at Keio University and Yonsei University must be transferred back to HKU • HKU offers the course “Political Economy of Global Asia” and a 4-week summer internship • quota is up to 5 HKU second-year students (with good academic performance)

  2. General Requirements • must be full-time undergraduate students of our Faculty with good academic standing (CGPA of 3.0 or above) • pay usual tuition fee to HKU, but students are responsible for their own living expenses at Keio and Yonsei • Keio and Yonsei will assist in finding accommodation

  3. Important Notes • students must apply for credit transfer • credits obtained during exchange studies will be converted to HKU credits but the grades will not be counted towards your HKU GPA • scholarships for deserving students are available • Application: December 2012 (Pay attention to announcement via HKU Email) http://www.socsc.hku.hk/3campus/
