    24. Consolidated Security Projects Part 1 Nearing Completion! Project Status: Testing is completed for eDirectory Production implementation is slated for May 07, 2008 Testing for Automated Registration and UGAT in second pass. Production implementation is slated for May 21, 2008 Deliverables: Automated Registration, new JNET users can sign up and be granted access the same day. User and Group Administration Tool (UGAT) Phase I includes tools to manage County/Agency/Location Registrar and Sponsor Assignments. 3 Counties participating in the initial roll-out: Allegheny, Delaware and Dauphin. Web Access Control/Single Sign-On All JNET web apps have been successfully converted to single sign-on. JNET Metro, the most difficult to implement. IN TEST

Work includes: User and Group Admin Tools (UGAT). Registrar Gateway Replacement plus enhancements. User Self Service Tools Allows users to request access to additional applications and entitlements electronically. Automated Review/Approval Workflows. Automate the JTAC’s workflow Automate SGS Web workflow for approvers to assign correct profile to user. Automate the gathering of Agency and Job Classification information from users.

    35. What is cNET? An online police record management system owned by the Pennsylvania Chief’s of Police, hosted and supported by JNET. Currently deployed to 75 agencies in over 21 Pennsylvania Counties. The cNET model provides RMS software, hardware, maintenance, licensing, and support for free. An annual maintenance fee is associated with full time Officers.

    39. JNET Children and Youth Access On July 27, 2006, the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act was enacted by the federal government. The act requires the Attorney General to ensure that FBI Criminal History Record Information (CHRI) is made available to: Government social agencies with child protection responsibilities. Child welfare agencies. Public and private elementary and secondary schools and state and local educational agencies. County C&Y agencies will work directly with PSP CLEAN Administration to obtain an ‘F’ ORI number for their agencies.

    50. PA SAVIN Statewide Automated Victims Information & Notification Service A service for crime victims and communities Victims and other persons can register by telephone or the Internet. Victims of crime may also register through Victim Advocate organizations. Victims receive automatic notification of a change of inmate status in county prison by phone, e-mail, or mail. A new tool for victim advocates Can also be used by Law Enforcement and Corrections personnel

USING PA SAVIN Statewide Automated Victims Information & Notification Service An Offender will not know that a person has registered to use SAVIN There is no limit on how many times per day a person can call into SAVIN to check offender status Each SAVIN user can register multiple phone numbers and/or e-mail addresses. For security, the SAVIN user will select a PIN # during registration. If a change in the inmate custody takes place the SAVIN user will receive e-mails or phone calls, as requested. Entering the pin confirms the receipt of the message and ends the calls. (No pin is required for e-mail registration.)
