  2. What is rock climbing?

  3. Rock climbing is the original extreme sport. Basically, rock climbing is going from the bottom of a wall to the top and then back down again. The main goal is to have fun while doing so and preferablynot to die.

  4. Nowadays , people like to pursue a high-quality life for recreation and vacation . It is the coolest fashion to get refreshing after being exhausted .

  5. Its roots go back at least 200 years to the explorers of the high Alps and Himalayas and probably even further.

  6. It’s a dangerous sport that requires experience, skill and a cool head. But if you’re the right type of person to do it, a whole new world of vertical fun will open up. 

  7. The basic feature of rockclimbing is quite breathtaking and exciting . It fully meets people’s desire to come back to nature and to pursuit excitement from challenging nature and himself . It influences people by its charm and outstanding character .

  8. What equipments are needed?

  9. Equipments • Shoes: The most useful piece of climbing equipment is a pair of climbing shoes, which protects the foot from sharp, rough rock, and provides more friction than a bare foot. A pair costs between $100 and $150.

  10. A modern climbing rope, a key piece of safety equipment . Climbing rope is dynamic: able to stretch a bit under tension. This is because the rope must stop falling climbers. If the rope did not stretch, a falling climber would be jerked suddenly as the rope stops him. Instead, the rope slows his fall more gently.

  11. To attach oneself to a rope, a climber uses a sewn harness. A typical one has a wide nylon belt for the waist and a pair of leg loops for the thighs.
