  2. Similes and Metaphors • Simile - A comparison of two things using “like” or “as” • “You’re as cold as ice” (“Cold As Ice”, Foreigner) • Metaphor - A comparison of two things which are not alike without using “like” or “as” • “Your love is a symphony” (“Your Love Is A Song”, Switchfoot)
