What is the Career Interest Profiler?? • The Naviance “Career Interest Profiler” is a tool that can help you discover what types of careers you may be interested in. • Can be used to narrow down options, and eliminate specific careers that are not suitable for your personality and interests • Preparation Starts NOW!!

  3. Preparing for Career Profiler There is no formal preparation needed before this assessment, HOWEVER, understanding the vocabulary and the format of the exam will help best before you start. Vocabulary Matching Activity Handout

  4. Career Interest Profiler…Lets Begin! Click the Career Interest Profiler

  5. Start the Career Interest Profiler Choose whether you would like or dislike doing the activity listed

  6. Your Results Your Holland Code

  7. Career Profiler Results Activity • First write down your Holland Code in the lines provided _______ _______ ______ • This will be the three sections that are closest to your interests and personality (in green) • Start your research!

  8. Researching Careers • Once you have chosen a career you would like to research, you will see everything you will need to answer your Results Sheet

  9. Post Assessment • Now that you have looked into different careers, make sure to add your Careers to your List by clicking “+add to my list” located underneath the Career Listing
