Alphabet • A-a in father • B-same sound as in english but softer • C-in front of a,o,u-hard c sound like cat • C-in front of e,i-s sound like see • D-same as english but softer • E-long a sound like say • F-same sound like english • G-in front of a, o,u-hard g sound like go • G-in front of e,i-h sound like hay

  24. alphabet • H-always silent • i-long ee sound like geek • J-hollow sound like the word “hot” • K-same sound, not many words with this letter • l-same sound as english • Ll-”y” sound like yo-yo • M-same sound as english • N-same sound as in english • Ñ-”ny” sound like in onion or canyon

  25. alphabet • O-long o sound like in open • P-same sound as in english but keep air in mouth • Q-will always be followed by letter “u” like in english, the Q will have a “K” sound but the u that follows will remain silent, not the same as english • R-same sound as in english • RR-needs to be rolled or trilled • S-same sound as in english

  26. alphabet • T-same sound as in english • U-has the “00” sound like boo • V-has the same sound of a v or a b, but they are soft sounds therefore similar • W-there very, very few words that begin or have a w in them, same sound • X-has the sound of a “gs” together like in the word “eggs” • Y-has two sounds, when it is a single letter word that means “and” it has the long ee sound
