  1. Who Made the Earth Just Right For Life?

  2. Have you heard of The Anthropic Principle?

  3. If God does not exist, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!” (1Co 15.32).

  4. If God does exist, let us pray and obey, for tomorrow we meet God.

  5. The universe did not get here accidentally.

  6. Therefore, something caused the universe.

  7. What was it?

  8. The universe has evidence of design.

  9. Therefore, Someone designed it.

  10. Who was it?

  11. The universe has the purpose of sustaining life.

  12. Therefore, Someone wants us here.

  13. Why does He want us here?

  14. Secularists Affirm the Anthropic Principle

  15. Nov 29 2004

  16. “The universe seems uncannily well suited to the existence of life. Could that really be an accident?” (Time, “Cosmic Conundrum,” Nov 29, 2004, p. 58).

  17. “…why the universe, against all odds, is so remarkably hospitable to life.” (Ibid.).

  18. “Without star debris like this, life would not be possible” “Further evidence that God created the universe just for us?”

  19. “Many of the most fundamental characteristics of our cosmos…are so finely tuned that if just one of them were even slightly different, life as we know it couldn’t exist.”

  20. “The proposition that the cosmos is—against all odds—perfectly tuned for life is known as the anthropic principle.” (pp. 58, 59).

  21. “Change one thing—the strength of gravity, say—and life might be impossible.” (p. 61).

  22. “The anthropic principle still makes many scientists uncomfortable—and not just because it gives comfort to theologians.

  23. “That discomfort, says Stanford theorist Leonard Susskind, is all to the good.

  24. “‘In the end,’ he observes, ‘it doesn’t matter whether the anthropic principle makes us happy.

  25. “What matters is whether it’s true” (p. 61).

  26. “I am not a religious person, but I could say this universe is designed very well for the existence of life.” (Heinz Oberhummer, astrophysicist, University of Vienna, Austria [World, September 2, 2000, “Our ‘tailor-made’ universe,” p. 17]).

  27. Scripture Affirms the Anthropic Principle

  28. Job 12.7–10 Psa 104.10–15, 24 Isa 45.12, 18, 19 Matt 6.26, 28, 30 Acts 14.17

  29. Can you provide examples of “The Anthropic Principle”?

  30. Therefore, there is a God in heaven, and He knows you and cares for you.

  31. He wants you to live with Him forever in heaven as His child.
