  6. Cirrostratus • Fog • Halos around sun or moon • High • See-through • Can mean rain is coming

  7. Nimbostratus • Rain and snow • Thick • Low • Dark • Can bring thunderstorms

  8. Cumulonimbus • Rain • Thunderstorms, sleet, snow, hail • Anvil shaped • Low bases, high tops • Can bring tornados

  9. Cumulonimbus with tornado • Fast and powerful whirling winds • Hail • Thunderstorms • Can cause destruction
