  2. Do the following: • Read C-3 • on page 1 in your science journal write: • the date • the title (“Where should we build?”) • the challenge question (p. C-4) • LEAVE SPACE AFTER THE QUESTION TO WRITE YOUR ANSWER WHEN YOU ARE DONE WITH THE ACTIVITY • these vocab words: • Inference- making a conclusion based on the evidence available • Landforms- a feature of the earth’s surface such as a lake, stream. Valley, canyon, etc. Here are some amazing examples. • Marsh- an area of low-lying land that is flooded in wet seasons or at high tide, and typically remains waterlogged at all times. • Wetlands- An area with a high number of water and watery land, such as a swamp, marsh or bog. • AGAIN LEAVE SPACE AFTER THE QUESTION TO WRITE YOUR DEFINITIONS WHEN YOU ARE DONE (OR DURING) WITH THE ACTIVITY

  3. TO finish: • Glue the Boomtown map into your journal. • Complete procedure steps #1 to #5 • Don’t forget to do the table. • Define the 4 vocabulary terms. • Answer analysis questions (#1 and #2). • Answer the challenge question.
