  3. Whywe chose this • KEET Limited wants to give Greensprings School Anthony Campus the access to such luxury pastries that you cannot experience any where else. Our kick starting pastry will be donuts, donuts are very popular around Nigeria especially in Lagos but KEET LIMITED is set in to bring in rare donuts with a different variety of flavours rather than the normal plan jam filled donut. This donut is one of a kind which cannot be found in our country. They come in different flavours with a series of delicious toppings and creams made with the finest ingredients.

  4. Continued......... So far we have come up with these flavours and toppings:- Flavours • Vanilla • Chocolate • Strawberry • Caramel Toppings • Sprinkles • Waffles • White chocolate chips

Marketing • Our target market ranges from the age 8 and above, we believe in giving everyone especially those older than us the opportunity enjoy such sweets but KEET LIMITED has decided on giving the community healthier choices for those who are above 30 years although those are just decisions for the future for now we will be aiming for mostly the younger generation. • The colours of the packs which the pastry will be kept depend on their flavour, which are all vibrant and distinct colours like white, brown, blue and pink to catch the attention of a potential customer although that is for the future for now we will be using transparent ziploc bags to package the donuts. We will advertise the product by getting willing members of the product to test our delicious creation, we will also include promos, pass out flyers and obviously one of the most effective ways of promoting a product, verbal advertising which has a high chance of persuading people to buy our goods. We will also put out the word by doing promos like buy 3 get one free • This product will be made in our able kitchen which is in the life science room and it will be sold at the school’s tuck shop

Jobs Available for the future As a new and upcoming business KEET LIMITED has 5 major departments which are the:- • HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT: - This department takes care of recruiting new employees for the business through CVs and various interviews. Under this department we have two major jobs for now which are the Head of Department and his/her assistant. • Sales and Marketing Department: - This department will have to update our cash flow forecasts every week for accuracy, they will also find new ways by which we can market our goods at a reasonable price and will prove to be effective. Under this department we have 4 jobs which are the Head of Department, H.O.D assistant, the accountant and the surveyor.

More....... • Research Department: - This department keeps tabs on the latest trends and how we can apply it in our product as well as gives ideas to improve these trends which would even bring in more popularity to our goods. Under this department we have 1 major job which will need at least 2 people which are the researchers • IT Department: - This department takes care of creating websites which advertise our products and allow people who are not able to reach our main shop to order online with ease, it also portrays some of our best flavours which all have comment section for feedback and suggestions on how to improve the product this department will be working hand in hand with the research department. Under this department we have 2 jobs which are the Head of Department and his/her assistant.

And last but not the least......... • Management Department:- This department is the head of all departments listed above, they also take note of the money going in out of the business e.g. sales revenue, cost of machinery and ingredients, loans etc. They also decide on ways to manage the raw materials and other resources. Events that will take place in order to promote our brand will also be taken care of by the management department

  10. Now lets talk business...... SALARIES!!! • HRM department:- Head - ₦46,000 per month and assistant – ₦40,000 per month. • SM department:- Head – ₦35,000 per month, assistant – ₦30,000 per month, accountant- ₦ 28,000 per month and surveyor – ₦15,000 per month. • RS department- ₦ 11,000

  11. IT department:- Head – ₦30,000 per month and the assistant – ₦27,000 per month • MG department:- Head –₦ 60,000 per month and the assistant –₦ 53,000 per month • Executive Directors:- ₦ 80,000

  12. Finance • The finance needed for KEET LIMITED to start up is about ₦20,000. This money will be used to pay for the:- • Machinery • Salaries • Raw materials • Advertisements e.g. flyers and posters • PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ONLY ACCEPT FUNDS IN CHEQUES NOT CASH. In order to avoid any case of money laundering and crime

  13. How do we hope to gain these funds • We are going to obtain these funds by asking for loans from various banks, small advertising to gain willing investors as well as some of our own finance. • We intend to pay this money back from the money we shall gain from our sales revenue.

  16. The amount of donuts we are to make =60 • Cost per unit = total cost of materials÷ amount therefore= 14100÷60=235 • Profit per unit= 15 naira • Selling Price= Cost per unit +15=235+15 • Selling Price= 250 NAIRA

  17. STRENGNTHS • The ingredients are quite affordable • Most of the students like to buy donuts • It is easy to vary

  18. Weaknesses • We have limited cooking space • We need to work on our time management • Bigger posters
