Be Safe • Be responsible with your pre and post-game partying • “Rioting, assault, theft, vandalism, fire setting, or other serious misconduct related to a University-sponsored event, occurring on –or off-campus, that results in harm to persons or property or otherwise poses a threat to the stability of the campus or campus community may result in disciplinary action…” (University of Maryland Code of Student Conduct)

  7. Be Cooperative • Comply with security personnel and any posted directions • Be aware of and courteous toward those around you

  8. Be Civil • Focus on encouraging the Terps rather than taunting the other team and their fans • Avoid using offensive language in what you say, T-shirts you wear, and signs you carry - remember, families with children attend games too • Realize that the referees are doing their best to be fair

  9. Be Involved • Wear your Maryland RED • Show your creativity in your posters • Cheer like crazy! • Learn the Maryland songs • Make it a goal to attend at least one game for every Maryland sport/team • Learn players’ names and accomplishments
