INA 10th Lisbon 2004 Coccolithophores don’t remain static, they move. For that reason, scientists studying them are use to go after those speedy guys. • What to bring • swimming stuff (e.g. sun protector, sun hat, etc.). • a big smile, fairness spirit, ........ Where? • What will be there • Emergency suite case, • Food and drinks, • Lots of fun, imaginative games......   2. 1 point 2 ‘’ 4 ‘’ 6 ‘’ 2 1 First game: Studying the common finding the rare. a) The purpose of this game is to illustrate the discovery of new species, in one hand and complementary study of those species, in the other hand. For accomplishing it, 3 elements of each team will be tied together and the first one of them will be blinded. Trios will have to grab balloons (of different colors/points: each color representing one coccolithophore species)and deliver them to the fourth element. Win the team that sums more points in the end of the game.

  3. Second game: Each contribution grows into knowledge. The purpose of this game is gather attention to teamwork as key factor of achievement. Players of each team assume constant distanced positions. There will be a relay run where each person will pass a (rabdolith) bottle to the next person of the same team to assemble all the bottles into a “rabdosphere”. The faster team to accomplish it will win.

  4. Third game: Healthy competition brings knowledge. This game illustrates that teams competition, when not exaggerated, can bring rhythm to work being done. Players of different teams assume intercalate positions, in such a way that while one team tries to pass the ball until the last player, adversaries can try to interrupt. At the end, wins the team that gathers more balls.

  5. Fourth game: Understanding the small we can comprehend the all. This game illustrates that only if we study the small (the particular) we can understand the big picture (the general) and explain the importance and role of the various organisms on their natural environment. After the balloons (coccolithophores) are filled, each element of the team will carry one balloon and tie it to platforms in the sea.
