Industrial Product Designer Salary – £26,000 - £32,000 Potential Route GCSE Product Design A Level Product Design Resistant Materials Design @ University Potential Route GCSE Hospitality NVQ Level 2 in Food and Drink Service, or Hospitality Service. • This is an in-house design role working from concept generation, prototyping and assisting in the transfer of design to manufacture. This exciting new role covers the end to end design process. • Skills required • A degree in a relevant engineering or design disciple or equivalent • Experience in industrial product design or product engineering with practical knowledge of 3D CAD (ideally Solid Edge) • Sound understanding and knowledge of general engineering, design, scientific physical principles. • Knowledge and understanding of plastic injection moulding and other manufacturing methods. • Proven ability to communicate through 2 and 3 dimensional media. • Able to produce high quality instruction manuals & product packaging artwork in 2D CAD software Illustrator/CorelDraw.
