  1. OkRVA Modifications to the USAV Domestic Competition Regulations (DCR) 2011-13

  2. Modification to USAV 19.3.1.3 • The Libero(s) will be allowed to serve in OkRVA-sanctioned events (excluding Regionals) • The Libero(s) may only serve in one position in the serving order per set • EITHER Libero may serve in that ONE position • Libero “L” cannot serve in a different position of the serving order than Libero “R”. Either may serve in ONE position. • Modification to USAV 19.3.2.1 (requiring a completed rally between replacements) • All Libero replacements require a completed rally (or a forced rotation) between replacements. OkRVA will provide the following exception: • A Libero who is on the court may immediately go back to serve for the player rotating into Position 1 (server). The player rotating to Position 1 (server) and the player rotating into Position 4 (front left) must exchange in the Libero Replacement Zone. • This is recorded as a double Libero Replacement on the Libero Control Sheet • The Libero must be ON THE COURT for this double replacement without an intervening completed rally. The Libero on the bench must wait a completed rally before entering the court

  3. Libero Serving: Libero Control Sheet L 1 4 R 4 1 R L 1 5 16 6 1 L 23R 23L R 23 9 12 23 8 When either Libero serves, place a TRIANGLE around the Roman Numeral, identifying the service position. This is the ONLY position where a Libero can serve

  4. Libero Serving: Libero Control Sheet, Deciding Set A 5 16 Tulsa B 9 X OKC A Tulsa 6 1 9 12 23 8 4 8 3 5 6 1 6 1 9 12 23 8 In a deciding set, if the Libero for the team on your LEFT serves before the change of courts, place a triangle around the Roman Numeral of the serving position on both the far left and far right. If the Libero does not serve until after the change of courts, you only need to place a triangle on the far right.

  5. Libero Serving: Scoresheet 8 02 Tulsa A X 5 16 6 1 4 1 9 12 23 8 When either Libero serves, place a TRIANGLE around the Roman Numeral, identifying the service position. This is the ONLY position where a Libero can serve

  6. Libero Serving: Scoresheet, Deciding Set In a deciding set, if the Libero for the team on your LEFT serves before the change of courts, place a triangle around the Roman Numeral of the serving position on both the far left and far right. If the Libero does not serve until after the change of courts, you only need to place a triangle on the far right.

  7. Libero Serving: Scoresheet If a Libero serves and his/her team wins the rally, place a TRIANGLE around the point in the Running Points Column

  8. Libero Serving: Double Libero Replacement Note: Must be the SAMELibero that is on the court L 1 4 L • Starting Libero is on the court 5 16 4 • When the team wins the Rally, the Libero on the court will be the next server 6 1 R 23 • Front row Player #4 replaces the Libero 9 L 12 • The Acting Libero (on the court) moves back to the Service position and replaces #23 23 8 When either Libero is on the court, and THE SAMELibero is to serve next, a Double Libero Replacement may take place (this is the ONLY time two exchanges may happen without a completed rally between them). THIS IS RECORDED AS TWO TRANSACTIONS

  9. Libero Serving: Double Libero Replacement Important Note: This is an exception to the rule requiring that an completed rally take place between Libero replacements. This is the ONLY exception. The Libero must ALREADY be on the court to do the double replacement. A Libero/Libero replacement may NOT take place at this time. If the Liberoon the bench wishes to serve while the other Libero is on the court, he/she must wait a completed rally before entering the court. (Libero on court must exit, a completed rally must take place, and then he/she may enter the court)
