Do you have photos of the lake that you would love to share with the community? If you have pictures that you have taken of the lake and would love to share them we would love to see them! Summer Success – Thank you Another summer is coming to a close and we hope you all had a chance to enjoy one of the many beautiful days at Lake Chaparral. We would like to thank all the volunteers and community supporters who helped make all of our summer events a huge success. Events such as the Movie In The Park and the Triathalon put on by Multisport Canada were a huge success. Please note our facility hours change September 3rd. Seniors Games Mondays 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM Come in to meet new people or catch up with friends. Drop-ins Welcome $1.00/person Walking Club Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:00 AM – 12 NOON (Please note there is a $0.50 charge if you are staying for coffee after your walk) Upcoming Programs • 251st Chaparral Scouts – REGISTRATION • Beavers (age 5-7) and Scouts (age 11-14) • Beavers “A” - Tuesdays - 6:15 – 7:15 PM • Beavers “B” - Wednesdays – 6:15 – 7:15 PM • Scouts --Wednesdays – 7:30 – 9:00 PM • To register for the 2013/2014 season, stop by the lake on Tuesday September 3rd or Wednesday September 4thfrom 6:30 PM - 8 PM or contact Diane Holmen at dholmen72@gmail.com
