The role of family and community in mentoring alienated youth in the Midwest – • An at-risk youth from a blended family in the economically depressed farm belt, • Suffers severe head trauma from an extremeweather event, • Undertakes a high risk journey to distant,minerals-based urban center, • Accompanied by three homeless adults, • Hired to perform a contract hit on a reclusive sociopath.
