  2. WHAT IS CONTRACEPTION • Contraception is now- a – days very common practice for women. These are also known as family planning contraception. • It is a use of hormones or devices which helps women to prevent from pregnancy. METHODS OF CONTRACEPTION • Condom – It is the most strong form of contraception which prevents in pregnancy. • Oral Contraceptive Pills – Women needs to take this pill 21 days continuously without fail. It is taken once in a day. Remembering this pill to take daily is very important point to consider. • Intrauterine Device – T shaped copper material is fitted into women’s uterus to prevent pregnancy. It’s a long lasting method and lasts for 3 to 10 years. • Contraceptive Injection – Injection contains a hormone progesterone.
