The key feature of combined wet mix and asphalt mixing plant is that the plant is complete in all aspects with a common aggregate feeder and common control cabin for the entire plant. The advantage for customers here is that they get the benefit of both the plants without compromising on the overall productivity. Ideally 40-60 tph drum mix asphalt plant can be paired with a 100 tph wet mix plant; a 60-90 tph asphalt drum mixing plant can be paired with 160 tph WM plant; 90-120 tph drum mixing hot mix plant can be paired with 200 tph wet mix macadam plant and 120-150 tph asphalt hot mix plant can be paired with a 250 tph soil stabilization plant. Silo for wet mix material storage: A silo type hopper of capacity 2 Tons for storage of wet mix till the transfer of trucks is supplied with 100 tph wet mix plant. Larger capacity silos for wet mix material storage in the capacities 10 Tons and 25 Tons is also available.

Common aggregate feeder In combined asphalt drum mixing plant and wet mix macadam plant the feeder is the common part which is equipped with individual AC/ DC motors and gear box to control and regulate the flow of aggregate from each bin. Gathering conveyor is equipped with scrapper and driven by AC motor. Aggregate from the gathering is fed to the drum with a slinger conveyor after removing oversize material.

5. Vibrating screen Vibrating screen is placed on both the sides of the aggregate feeder facilitating its use both to the drum mix and wet mix macadam plant.

7. Pollution control device and lime filler Venturi type wet dust collector pollution control device is supplied with the hot asphalt continuous mixing plant. Bag house type pollution control device can also be supplied with the plant. Lime filler for addition of additive is supplied with rotary valve supplied with AC/DC motor. This mineral filler supplied with hot mix type drum asphalt plant is equipped with a suitable twin lube air compressor for easy flow of minerals to the dryer drum through a pipe.

8. Pugmill mixing device The pug mill supplied with WM plant is mounted on a sturdy chassis. Dual shaft type PUG MILL mixing device consists of hardened material liners-heavy duty square bar with wear resistant paddle arms and tips. It is designed in such a way to give a homogenous mix.
