  1. MEETING MY RESPONSIBILITY ECCLESIASTES 12:13-14

  2. We Have A Responsibility To Our Families. To our Children. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Ephesians 6:4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. To our parents. Ephesians 6:1-3 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother" (this is the first commandment with a promise), that it may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth." To our spouses

  3. Wives owe their husbands: Honor, respect and love. Colossians 3:18 Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Ephesians 5:23-24 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. As the church is subject to Christ, so let wives also be subject in everything to their husbands. Titus 2:4 That they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children. Husbands owe their wives: Honor, respect and love.

  4. Colossians 3:19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them. IPeter 3:7 Likewise you husbands, live considerately with your wives, bestowing honor on the woman as the weaker sex, since you are joint heirs of the grace of life, in order that your prayers may not be hindered. Husband has the responsibility to provide for his family. I Timothy 5:8 But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. Both the husband and wife owe each other loyalty.

  5. The Church We have a responsibility to attend the services of the church. Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. When we are doing other things instead of worshipping of God, can we honestly say we are seeking first the kingdom of God?

  6. We have a responsibility to be part of the church. How many times do you refer to the church as “they” instead of “we?” I Corinthians 12:14-18 For in fact the body is not one member but many. If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,'' is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,'' is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. If we are a Christian then we are part of the body of Christ, part of the church.

  7. Responsibility To God Fear God Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether it is good or whether it is evil. Acts 10:35 But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. Some say to fear God is to respect Him. Fear is more than respect. Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who can kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

  8. Hebrews 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Love God Mark 12:29-30 Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: `Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment. He loved us first. I John 4:19 We love Him because He first loved us. Worship Him

  9. John 4:23-24 "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.'' Hebrews 12:28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe; Obey Him Matthew 7:21 Not every one who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Acts 5:29 We must obey God rather than men.
