  1. MKI Work During Christmas TS • Point 2: • Week 49: magnet B, Tank #5, removed and Tank #10 installed • Week 49: magnet B, TMR changed (new head and MultiContact pickup) • Week 49: survey • Week 49: equipment remounted under magnet B • Baked-out • Sublimation carried out on both Tank 4 & Tank 10 • Valves around Tank #10 open and closed again to check operation (OK) • One of eight “electron-cloud bobbins” installed (near warm-cold transition and pumping port): • Equipment deconsigned (Thurs 13/1/2011). • TO DO: • Software changes to be verified; • Pulse conditioning (ACOND) & verify • waveforms; • Carefully monitor TMR C & PFN C voltages • and identify cause of voltage reduction • that occurred between Dec. 4-6, 2010 • (possibly in DS tank ……). LIBD: 14 Jan 2011

  2. MKI Work During Christmas TS • Point 8: • Week 49: magnet C, TMR changed (new head and MultiContact pickup) • Equipment deconsigned (Fri 14/1/2011). • TO DO: • Software changes to be verified; • Pulse conditioning (ACOND) and • verify waveforms. • Electron-cloud bobbins to be • installed. • Future Work for MKI’s? • Move Group Hydraulics pipes away from magnet interconnect B-C to permit use of VPIB pump? (no elbow, hence higher pumping speed and allows 3 valves on adjacent MKI tanks). LIBD: 14 Jan 2011
