  6. Why a DAISY In Training Award? Nursing school is tough. The DAISY In Training Award is meant to inspire nursing students to remember why they wanted to be a nurse in the first place. Recognizing the care and compassion shown to patients. Celebrating what it means to be a nurse.

  7. The DAISY Faculty Award The DAISY In Training Award can be utilized as a stand alone award or as a powerful complement to The DAISY Faculty Award. The Impact on the future practice patterns of students. Inspiration for compassionate patient care Dedication to the profession of nursing.

  8. Who Will Run The DAISY In Training Award? It’s up to you! Some options to consider are: A group of Nursing Students, such as the Student Nurses Association. A joint committee of Students and Faculty. Faculty and representatives of the Dean’s office.

  9. Who Can Be Nominated for DAISY In Training? Any student nurse, studying at an RN level or above can be nominated. Anyone can submit a nomination! Nominations should honor not only great clinical skill but also strong patient care and compassion.
