I-V characteristics of strained-layer nano-thin 3C-SiC sensor Experience / Expertise • PhD in Physics - Solid State Physics (experimental & mathematical modeling of magnetoelastic coupling) • 6 Years US DOE - High temperature corrosion, gas stream characterization and cleanup for gasification & combustion) • 9 Years Contract R&D - Electronic materials (CVD & plasma processes) • 18 Years WVU Chemical Engineering - Diamond, SiC, GaN, graphene for advanced electronics & sensors • Surface chemistry and characterization of high temperature and plasma processes (extreme environments)

Materials-Related Facilities and Other Assets • Surface and Materials Studies (SMS) Laboratory (308 ERB) • PHI 595 scanning Auger microprobe (SAM) - Interfaced to two ultrahigh vacuum growth systems - In-situ AES, RHEED, & LEED capabilities • PHI 5700 Multi-Technique ESCA System - Monochromated Al x-ray source - Standard Al & Mg Kα x-ray sources - Hemispherical electron energy analyzer - 30 μm minimum analysis spot - Differentially pumped ion gun • Molecular Imaging AFM / STM with mechanical and acoustical vibration isolation
