  2. In America, the protagonist of Christmas is Santa Claus. He wears a red suit with a matching hat. The children write a letter asking for the gifts they want for Christmas. Traditionally, Santa Claus comes down the chimneys of houses and he leaves gifts under the tree. The spanish prefer to kings. they are called Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar They leave the presents on January 6 at night. The legend says that after the birth of Jesus, come to deliver rich symbolic gifts: gold, frankincense and myrrh.

  3. Decorations The Christmas tree is an ornamental tree, typical of the Christmas party. It is decorated with Christmas items and ornaments, lights, stars, ribbons, tinsel and other decorations. The american families put their socks on the fireplace and Santa Claus leaves candy and chocolates. To congratulate to family and friends the Christmas they send Christmas cards.

  4. Twelve grapes is a Spanish tradition that consists of eating 12 grapes, one for each chime of the clock in the Puerta del Sol at 12 pm on December 31st (New Year). And later is provided with champagne. The traditional site of the 12 bells in Spain is the Puerta del Sol (Madrid), where the famous clock in the Casa de Correos

CRHISTMAS DINNER One of the moments of Christmas is Christmas dinner (Christmas Eve) in which the family usually meets in full and a special menu. at dinner there is usually seafood, pork, turkey, stuffing... Is typical at this time eating nougat, marzipan, chocolates and polvorones. The roulade de Reyes is a bun made from a sweet dough garnished with slices of fruit of various colors, which is served in Spain on January 6.
