The Places of the Gospel(Everywhere) • Work: And he said unto them, Go ye • Evangelism • Edification • Benevolence • Worldwide: into all the world • Next door • Nationwide • Nationality
The Preaching of the Gospel(Evangelize) • Word: and preach the gospel to every creature. (Word=Gospel=Truth I Pet 1:25) • Planted: Luke 8:11 • Preached: Rom 10:13-14 • Power: Mark 4:26-27 • Prick: Acts 2:37 • Persuade: II Cor 5:11 • Plain: Mark 12:37 • Water: I Cor 3:7-8 (God’s system) • Sovereign’s job: So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: • Saint’s job: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. • Seed’s job: Isa 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
The Pardon of the Gospel(Erase) • Believe: He that believeth (Synecdoche) • Part for the whole • Faith only will not save • Jas 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. • Faith + Obedience = Salvation (no babies or children allowed) • Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; • Heb 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; • Baptized: andis baptized (Submission & Submersion) • 1Pe 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us(not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: • Baptism is a burial • Blessed: shall be saved (Soul) • Salvation is in Christ • All Spiritual blessings are in Christ • All men must be baptized into Christ
The Punishment of the Gospel(Excruciating) • Disobedience:but he that believeth not • Not believing the Gospel is a sin • Death, Burial, Resurrection, Son of God • Not obeying the Gospel is a sin • Not enough to know the Gospel • Damnation: shall be damned. • “Jesus did not say he that is baptized not shall not be saved” • Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. • Damnation means eternal punishment of the wicked! • Mar 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: • Mar 9:44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
