  2. Graduation Requirements for the Class of 2018 DisciplineCredits • English 4.0 • Social Studies 3.5 • Mathematics 3.0 • Science 3.0 • Physical Education 1.5 • Health .5 • Electives 9.5 • Total 25.0 *Students must take and successfully complete .5 credits of an eAchieve course

  3. University Entrance Requirements • 4 credits English • 3 credits Social Studies • 3 credits Mathematics • 3 credits Natural Sciences • 4 credits Other Academics (World Lang, Fine Arts Computer Science)

  4. World Language Requirement The following Wisconsin schools require a MINIMUM of 2 years of the same foreign language for admissions; although it is highly recommended by all colleges.

  5. Admission Policies Wisconsin Technical Colleges Graduation from Waukesha West will meet the entrance requirements for all Wisconsin Technical colleges. Students will also take the COMPASS test. Military All branches of the military require graduation from a high school for consideration for enlisting. Students are required to take the ASVAB test.

  9. eAchieve • Students may elect to take courses through the e-Achieve Academy. • Courses will be selected by entering them during your regular course selection process. • If you are requesting an eAchieve course, please put an (o) behind the course number on your course selection sheet. • Available courses and course descriptions can be found @ www.eAchieve.com

What’s the Best Learning Environment for You? • Traditional: Attending classes within the physical location of West; a typical classroom with students and teacher(s) • Online: interactive virtual classroom, live teacher-led weekly eSessions, pace charts keep you on schedule. • Blended: classes where a portion of the face-to-face instruction is replaced by web-based online learning. It offers a student-centered element of control over time, place, path, and/or pace.

  13. SUMMER TESTING DATES / ACADEMIC OPTIONS • Tuesday, June 24TH • Thursday, February 26TH • If students do not provide test data, then they will initially be placed in Academic Options.

Follow-up from Open House Freshman Course Numbers Biology – 1312 Human Geography – 1410 AP Human Geography – 1423 AP Prep English – 5020 Algebra I – 1119 Geometry – 1124 Hon Geometry – 1125 ** If you select AP Human Geography you must select AP Prep English 9. Likewise, if you select AP Prep English 9 you must select AP Human Geography. EXLPORE The EXPLORE test will be available for parochial students should they chose to take the test. The test is being administered on Wednesday, April 9th @ 7:00am – 11:30am. Please contact Bret Harttertbhartter@waukesha.k12.wi.us to register for the test.
