  1. Bunurong Coast By Abbey Gray

  2. Geological features -‘Bunurong’ Coast is the named after an Aboriginal tribe that has lived there for thousands of years. -It is located 140 km South East of Melbourne.- The Bunurong Marine Park goes for approximately 5 km of coastline from 2.5 km east of Cape Patterson it is dominated by rugged sandstone cliffs and rocky reefs.-The coastal waters contain a wide range of habitats of marine life, and an unusual set of environmental conditions.I would say that is confirms the stability of the area, Because of it’s sandstone cliffs and that weather and erosion is the only affect on the cliff.

  3. Biological Isolation Australia has been separated from the rest Gondwana for over 40 million years, this meant that Australia has been able to establish it’s own unique identity. It has it’s own range of Flora and Fauna compared to the rest of the world. At Bunurong there are rocky reefs that include numerous microhabitats, several species of crabs, seastars, urchins, feather stars, and brittle stars, numerous sea snails, and small crustaceans. The flora of the Bunurong includes seaweeds is comparatively high and includes green, blue-green, brown and encrusting coralline red algal species. Because of it’s coastal conditions it home to birds and marsupials.

  4. Climatic Variations Australia climate is very erratic. It can be in drought for 10 tens and then broken by devastating flooding. It two elements can cause the lost of Flora and Fauna habitats. Believe the Climatic is changing and sea levels are rising and becoming warmer it is causing an affect on the fauna because they are not use to the climate.
