Recipe Reading Sample • Vegetable Tortilla Wrap • Ingredients: • 4 flour tortillas • ½ package cream cheese • ¼ container of sour cream • 1 T ranch dressing spice • 1 carrot, grated • ½ cucumber, diced • 1 red bell pepper, sliced • Directions: • Mix cream cheese, sour cream and ranch dressing mix. • Prepare vegetables as instructed in ingredient section. • Spread cream cheese mixture on flour tortillas. • Place carrots, cucumbers, and peppers on mixture. • Fold up from one end and roll from side to side. • Cut into halves and enjoy!

Team Kitchen Evaluation • Rubric is clearly defined with 5 categories of evaluation • 4 are team-based, 1 is individual-based • Teacher observations and notes during lab experience • Student observations through personal lab experience • Kitchen team meetings with teacher to compare experiences • Rubric is completed by students and discussed with teacher • Grade is entered and is based on a 100pt. maximum
