Australia – II • Time to reach PhD • 3 years • sometimes shorter (Master by research) • Masters by research vs. by coursework • Scholarships for international Ph.D. Students • IPRS, OPRS, CQUISS… • Fees • The tuition fees are about $A11000 – $A18500 a year • Some courses have registration fees • sometimes over $A4000 • Examination • Defend thesis in front of committee
