  2. Privacy on Facebook Facebook is a fast growing online social network, but privacy issues have caused many to question whether it is safe to release their personal information to the popular website.

  3. Glitches • A recent glitch allowed users to view their friend’s private conversations on chat. • This glitch was quickly repaired, however users felt uneasy about trusting the site with their private conversations.

  4. “For a service that has grown as dramatically as we have grown, that now assists with more than 400 million people sharing billions of pieces of content with their friends and the institutions they care about, we think our track record for security and safety is unrivaled,” Elliot Schrage, Facebook’s Vice President for Public Policy.
