  2. What is Abortion and Percentages • Abortion the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy. • Range from least to greatest by country

  3. Different Types of Abortion • The type of abortion procedure used in elective pregnancy termination is primarily determined by how far a woman is into pregnancy. • There is Medical and Surgical procedures, the medical are mostly done in the first trimester.

Continue • Methotrexate & Misoprostol (MTX), Mifepristone & Misoprostol; these are the medical procedures of an abortion which is done in the first trimester. • Manual Vacuum Aspiration (MVA), Aspiration, Dilation & Curettage (D&C), Dilation & Evacuation (D&E), Induction Abortion; you have the chose of these procedures during your first and second trimester. • Induction Abortion, and Dilation & Extraction are done during the third trimester which are surgical procedures.
