  2. What are Tax Policies and Taxes? Tax policy is the government's approach to taxation, both from the practical and normative side of the question. A tax is a sum of money demanded by a government for its support or for specific facilities or services, levied upon incomes, property, sales, etc. Our topic is tax policies and taxes. In our government for many years we have had taxes. People are taxed on many different things such as sales, income, land and more. Over the years, policies about taxes have changed, affecting many people and their opinions about taxes. Taxes can vary based on the person. Gradated income tax is a term to define how depending on the amount of money you make, decides the amount you are taxed .

  3. Why is This Topic Worth Exploring? This topic is very important for many reasons. Throughout peoples lives and mainly during the grown-up years, people have to deal with taxes. They affect many aspects in a persons life such as providing for themselves and their family. Taxes are a government enforcement and if they are not paid, it could result in jail time as a crime. We are ruled under a government and its laws so it is important to be able to understand all the aspects of a government and why the government is taxing you, for what are they taxing you of and how much they are taxing you.

  4. How does Tax Policies and Taxes Relate to Economy? The economy is involved with the nations money. Taxes make up much of the nations money and tax policies are a big part of taxes. The economy provides a lot of jobs for citizens and citizens are taxed on their income. Taxes are usually given to the government and creates our large part of our economy. If we didn’t have taxes, our economy wouldn’t be like it is today.
