  2. 創作構想 環視世界各主要學校，常見以各種紀念建築來闡述各自代表的精神、理念或價值觀。國立臺中教育大學於創校逾百年之際思索設立此類的場所，提供校內師生全新的校園精神場所，暢揚「中師精神」。（國立臺中教育大學創校於1899年至今有112年，學校一直扮演國家基層教師的培育任務，為銘誌本校承擔師培重任的百年史實。）故此門名曰“師道百年長河”。"WARP(變形幾何結構)"是一個數學物理上的抽象理論：尺度化的空間中，透過結構的扭曲，有可能造成不同空間節點的對接。在藝術的創作中，對接的兩點其中所包含的抽象空間更耐人尋味。
