Introduction Hi today I am going to talk to you about a Healthy Eating. That includes the include normal healthy eating and the food groups. HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!!!
Healthy Eating • To be healthy eating you should try to eat healthily. • You should try to eat at least 5 portions of fruit and veg a day. • You should also drink lots of water and less fizzy drinks. • Its recommended that we should drink about 6-8 glasses of water a day. • Your daily diet should contain Carbohydrates, Protein and Starchy foods.
Carbohydrates • Carbohydrates gives the body energy to do stuff • These are some examples of carbohydrate foods: Potatoes, Pasta, Rice and bread
Proteins • Protein helps our body by helping it grow and repair damage that has happened in the past. • The following food are proteins: Meats, Poultry, Eggs, Beans and more
Fats • Fats are like carbohydrates. • Fats give you energy and they also help the body by building it up • These are some fat foods: Dairy Products, Red meats, Some poultry, and some types of fish. • But also not all fats are healthy.
Fibre • Fibre helps you have a healthy digestive system and it helps you absorb nutrients • Here are some examples of fibre food: Cereals, Fruit, Vegetables and brown bread.
Minerals Vitamins Vitamins are good for your general well being. These are some foods that containVitamins: Dairy products, Fresh fruit and Vegetables. • Minerals have to play different roles. Here is an example Calcium is good for the bones and your teeth. • These are some examples of foods that contain minerals: Fresh fruit, Vegetables, Red meat and Poultry
Fizzy Drink Campaign Today in Camdean we want to stop people drinking fizzy juice as it rots your teeth. Some of these examples are The things that mean by no Fizzy drinks: Irn Bru, Cola, Sprite, Fanta and loads more. Im sure the teachers would really appreciate you not bringing fizzy drinks to school. Also no energy drinks.
