Latin American Montessori Bilingual Public Charter School • Parent Teacher Organization / Organización de Padres y Maestros • Library Accomplishments • New library space set up and operating at South Dakota facility • Both facilities used Sign-up Genius to recruit parent volunteers for primary library time • For greater parent access, sign-up for each classroom is posted on the school website • Approximately 36 parents at the Missouri and 63 at the South Dakota facilities volunteered to read, help with book selection and manage check-in/check-out during library time • Library Automation • Purchase of Alexandria software completed • Software installed at South Dakota, to be installed at Missouri over the summer break • 3 training sessions on the use of the library software have been held • The process of scanning and inputting book titles has started. • Book Acquisition • Library received over 400 books from the Books for America Foundation • Hire P/T librarian • Job description drafted.

Latin American Montessori Bilingual Public Charter School • Parent Teacher Organization / Organización de Padres y Maestros • Fundraising/Special Events Accomplishments • Organized special events: Halloween party, Teacher Appreciation Lunch, End of the Year Party and LAMB fun run. • Assisted with various fundraising efforts for LAMB Teacher in need • Facilitated Picture Day: Raised $350 • Facilitated Weekly Popcorn Sales: Raised $1838 • Facilitated LAMB “Holiday Tree & Wreath Sale and Winter Festival”: Raised $6909 • Facilitated “Arriba” Campaign: Raised $104,542 • Worked with the St Andrews Auction: Raised $1000 • Facilitated Boxtops and Labels for Education: $366.25 • Total Raised – approximately $115,000!
