Announcements:Sign in your name and dateVisit ecomuslims.weebly.com, download the presentation, and sign into your gmail account ( 4 minutes ) WM5/FM3 June 17, 2013 – 2nd Online Live Session Agenda:- Review forms, materials, and documents- Complete the selection of logo and name worksheet- Changes made to Group Initiative- Group Leaders announced- Assign Tasks and Jobs for each group- Email Format / Scheduling and Meeting Updates-Sources and Requests / reminders

  2. Take 2-5 minutes Go over the 5 W’s Due Date: The next time we meet ( soon inshALLAH!) I will store them safely. Get parent signatures and inform them of the project we are initiating. Forms and documents

  3. Take 15-20 minutes working on this sheet Complete all parts of WS Draw a larger version of the logo you want or think we should have MUST be handed in the folder with the signed forms Selection of Name and Logo WS

  5. ONLY Volunteer, DOM, Tech, and Fundraising Group NO Social Activities Club exclusively or Journalism Group (YET!) WE are the DOM leaders Look at new positions Changes made to group goals

Manahil and Nafisa Work on goal sheet, research sheet, budget sheet, fundraising sheet, and proposal sheet together Work on advertising sheet Work on permission slips and application forms Proposal must be 12 pt. Font, Double Spaced, 4 Copies (1 for each DOM leader), and must meet the proposal sheet requirements Due on June 21st, 2013 Volunteer Group

Set an ideal budget that we can fulfill ADD in ALL expenses PLEASE Please make 4 copies of each proposal Get at least 4-5 options of each task you are assigned Use quality companies too please Sources and Requests

Email is like #1 communication now so we have to be professional FORMAT • First comes Date • Dear Sirs/Madams, To Whom It May Concern, Dear [persons name], Good[morning/evening/afternoon] • Write out the body in separate but complete sentences or very short paragraphs. • CHECK for spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes, or punctuation errors • Sign like this: • Sincerely/Best/Thanks/Peace&Regards/See You • NO Love Shove, See Ya Babes, HunBuns, XOXOXO, etc. • Then Write your Complete name Workshop #1: Lesson 1“Email Format”
