Invented by Edison 1. Born 1847 in Ohio 2. Only had 3 months of formal schooling B. Patented by Edison in 1880. C. Was an improvement from gas lighting D. How the light bulb works 1. Electricity is necessary. 2. A thin strip called a filament is heated and glows.
