  2. ZGIERZ Zgierz is a town in central Poland, just 10 km north of the city of Lodz, on the Bzura river. It has about 60 thousand inhabitants. The symbol of the city is a hedgehog.

  4. TEACHER TRAINING COLLEGE The Teacher Training Collegein Zgierz is one of the town’s oldest schools. It was established on January 1, 1919. From the beginning its major objective has been training elementary school teachers.

  5. TEACHER TRAINING COLLEGE • Today the school is meritorically guided by the University of Lodz, which also offers some of its teaching staff. • The College educates future teachers, offering both daily and extramural three-year courses in several profiles.
