  2. What are we doing? • Participating in the DBBC’s development of an HCP

  3. Why are we doing that? • Supportive of the successful implementation of the new 50 year license for the Pelton Round Butte Project • Co-owned by PGE and the CTWS • Largest project inside of Oregon • High economic value to the Tribes and to PGE’s customers

  4. New License Terms • Significant Fisheries and WQ Measures • Trout Creek Habitat • Lower River Gravel • Round Butte Hatchery • Selective Water Withdrawal and salmon/steelhead reintroduction

  5. Selective Water Withdrawal and Reintroduction • $100 million investment • Requires construction of new intake tower and fish screening/collection facilities capable of handling 6000+ cfs • Reintroduction of steelhead to historic habitats
