Houston is a highly-educated market • Of 8,438 graduates in 2009, 30% earned degrees in business administration • 346,947 (9.5%) received graduate diplomas • Among bachelor, graduate and doctorates: • 14.1% in Professional/Business Services • 14.5% in Government • 10% in Health Care and Social Assistance • Service-providing industries account for 81% of all jobs in the Houston market > Sources: National Center for Education Statistics 2009 Texas Workforce Commission March 2010
